Dana 03. lipnja 1995. godine održano je već tradicionalno vatrogasno natjecanje 16. Memorijal „Mirko Kolarić“. Pokrovitelj ovog natjecanja bilo je Gradsko poglavarstvo Grada Varaždina na čelu sa gradonačelnikom Alfredom Obranićem koji je ujedno i otvorio ovaj Memorijal. Na Memorijalu nastupilo je 83 desetina sa 830 vatrogasaca. U kategoriji muški nastupilo je 72 desetine a prvo mjesto osvojila je ekipa DVD-a Desno Trebarjevo, druga je bila ekipa DVD-a Donja Kaštela a treće mjesto pripalo je DVD-u „Mladost“ Kaštel Sućurac. U ženskoj konkurenciji nastupilo je 11 odjeljenja a prvo mjesto osvojile su članice DVD-a Bolnica Popovača drugo mjesto osvojili su članice Podravka Koprivnica a treće DVD Novi Marof. Ovo natjecanje su vodili Zvonko Biškup, Ivica Batina i Mijo Brlečić .

On 3 June 1995, the already traditional firefighting competition, the 16th “Mirko Kolarić” Memorial, was held. The patron of the competition was the City Government of Varaždin, headed by Mayor Alfred Obranić, who also officially opened the Memorial. A total of 83 teams, comprising 830 firefighters, took part in the Memorial. In the men’s category, 72 teams competed, with first place going to the Desno Trebarjevo Volunteer Fire Brigade (DVD). Second place was won by the Donja Kaštela Volunteer Fire Brigade, while third place went to the “Mladost” Volunteer Fire Brigade from Kaštel Sućurac. In the women’s category, 11 teams competed. First place was won by the members of the Popovača Hospital Volunteer Fire Brigade, followed by the Podravka Koprivnica team in second place, while third place went to the Novi Marof Volunteer Fire Brigade. The competition was conducted by Zvonko Biškup, Ivica Batina and Mijo Brlečić.
