DOBROVOLJNO VATROGASNO DRUSTVO BALE - ASSOCIAZIONE VOLONTARI VIGILI DEL FUOCO VALLE

Kroz povjest ima više naćina na koji je pitanje zaštite od požara na podrućju općine Bale bilo regulirano. Nažalost, većina spoznaja o tome je po sistemu „rekla-kazala“,odnosno, nije kvalitetno ispitana povjest vatrogastva na našem podrućju, te ih i stoga nećemo navoditi. Slijedeći dokaz o vatrogastvu na podrućju općine Bale, je slika Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva Bale iz 1955.godine. Sadašnji sistem i način ustroja vatrogastva, na podrućju općine Bale, primjenjuje se od 1983.godine. Te godine, točnije 22.04.1983. godine, po inicijativi tadašnje Mjesne zajednice i nekolicine svjesnih građana, a prema potrebi formiranja organiziranog broja ljudi za protupožarnom zaštitom, osniva se Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo Bale.  Tadašnje, prvo rukovodstvo Društva bili su: 
Vinko Božac-predsjednik, 
Vladimir Drandić-zapovjednik, 
Vladimir Harić-tajnik, 
Petar Vratović-blagajnik, 
pok. Aldo Drandić-zamjenik predsjednika.

DVD Bale je 1983.godine imalo 47 članova. Društvo je u 80 -tim godinama prošlog stoljeća sagradilo garažu-spremište za potrebe vatrogastva koja se i danas koristi u te svrhe, te je posjedovalo jedno kombi vozilo za prijevoz ljudstva i opreme. Djelovanje tadašnjeg DVD-a bilo je usmjereno prvenstveno na šumskim požarima kao ispomoć drugim profesionalnim jedinicama. Zbog ograničene protupožarne opreme koje je tada Društvo posjedovalo, isto nije djelovalo na složenijim tehničkim intervencijama. Sljedeći predsjednici bili su:
-Mario Sošić, od 1985.godine
-Claudio Dellabernardina, od 1986.godine
-Petar Vratović, od 1993.godine.

Posljednji zapis o aktivnosti tadašnjeg DVD-a je zapisnik o održanoj redovnoj Skupštini 24.07.1993.godine. Nakon toga DVD prestaje sa svojim djelovanjem i aktivnostima. U posljednjem sastavu DVD Bale imalo je 40 članova. Do ponovnog pokretanja aktivnosti DVD-a Bale, čekalo se do 2001.godine, gdje se otvara i nova stranica Balskog vatrogastva. Osnivačka Skupština održana je 20.10.2001.godine u prisustvu visokih čelnika Istarskog vatrogastva, te čelnika Općine Bale. Za rukovodstvo DVD-a za period od 2001. do 2005.godine izabrani su: 
Vedran Šetić-predsjednik, 
Milan Zonta-zapovjednik, 
Andrej Šetić-zamjenik zapovjednika,
David Giorgi-tajnik. 
Godine 2001. DVD je imao 18 članova, jedno vozilo za prijevoz ljudstva i opreme, te malo opreme za zaštitu od požara.

Throughout history, there are several ways in which the issue of fire protection in the area of the municipality of Bale was regulated. Unfortunately, most of the knowledge about this is based on the "tell-tell" system, that is, the history of firefighting in our area has not been properly examined, and therefore we will not list them. The following evidence of firefighting in the territory of the municipality of Bale is a picture of the Voluntary Firefighting Society of Bale from 1955. The current system and method of organization of the fire department, in the territory of the municipality of Bale, has been applied since 1983. That year, 22.04.1983 to be exact. year, on the initiative of the then local community and a few aware citizens, and according to the need to form an organized number of people for fire protection, the Voluntary fire brigade of Bale was founded. At that time, the first management of the Company were:

Vinko Božac-president, Vladimir Drandić-commander, Vladimir Harić-secretary, Petar Vratović-treasurer, the late Aldo Drandić-deputy president.

DVD Bale had 47 members in 1983. In the 80s of the last century, the company built a garage-storage for the needs of the fire department, which is still used for these purposes today, and owned a van for the transport of personnel and equipment. The operation of the DVD at that time was focused primarily on forest fires as an aid to other professional units. Due to the limited fire-fighting equipment that the Company had at the time, it did not work on more complex technical interventions. The following presidents were:

-Mario Sošić, since 1985 -Claudio Dellabernardina, since 1986 - Petar Vratović, since 1993.

The last record of the activities of the DVD at that time is the minutes of the regular Assembly held on July 24, 1993. After that, the DVD stops its operation and activities. The last composition of DVD Bale had 40 members. It took until 2001 to restart Bale DVD activities, when a new website of the Bale Fire Department was opened. The Founding Assembly was held on October 20, 2001 in the presence of senior leaders of the Istrian Fire Service and the head of the Municipality of Bale. For the management of DVD for the period from 2001 to 2005, the following were elected:

Vedran Šetić-president, Milan Zonta-commander, Andrej Šetić-deputy commander, David Giorgi-secretary. In 2001, DVD had 18 members, one vehicle for transporting personnel and equipment, and some fire protection equipment.
