Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Prvo dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo za Fažanu osnovano je na obližnjem Brijunskom arhipelagu 20. siječnja 1952. godine pod nazivom DVD Brioni Fažana. Značajna brojnost članova i aktivnosti nastavljena je tijekom desetljeća, a 21. svibnja 1983. otvoren je novi Vatrogasni dom. Slijedom raznih poteškoća Društvo je sredinom devedestih prestalo djelovati. Na inicijativu mještana, i uz potporu Općine, 2011. godine osnovano je DVD Fažana. Društvo trenutačno ima 60 članova i 18 članova Vatrogasne mladeži. Društvo ima dva interventna vatrogasna vozila i djeluje na području Općine Fažana, a po pozivu iz Javne vatrogasne postrojbe Pula odlazi na intervencije na cijelom istarskom području.

The first voluntary fire brigade for Fažana was founded on the nearby Brijuni archipelago on January 20, 1952 under the name DVD Brioni Fažana. The significant number of members and activities continued during the decade, and on May 21, 1983, the new Fire Station was opened. Due to various difficulties, the Company ceased to operate in the mid-nineties. On the initiative of the locals, and with the support of the Municipality, in 2011 DVD Fažana was founded. The society currently has 60 members and 18 members of the Fire Youth. The company has two emergency fire engines and operates in the area of Fažana Municipality, and when called from the Public Fire Department of Pula, it goes to interventions in the entire Istrian area.
