Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Dobrovoljno Vatrogasno Društvo Veliko Korenovo osnovano je 1932.godine. Nažalost članova osnivaća DVD-a Velikog Korenova nema među živima, a kako ne postoje nikakovi pisani tragovi iz toga vremena neznamo ni koji su osnivaći kao i prvi rukovodioci. Iz prićanja građana i starijih članova DVD-a saznajemo da je DVD-o bilo veoma aktivno prije drugog svjetskog rata kao i poslije. Nabavljena je i prva vatrogasna šprica sa kojom su članovi DVD-a sudjelovali na mnogim požarima u mjestu kao i u okolnim selima na sadašnjem području grada Bjelovara kao i u drugim mjestima. Također su postizani i tapaženi rezultati na natjecanjima. Posljednji tragovi i aktivnosti DVD-a zabilježeni su 80-tih godina kada na neki način i prestaju sve aktivnosti. Nažalost rušenjem starog doma nestaje sva dokumentacija o radu i djelovanju DVD-a kao i razna priznanja, pehari te druga odličja koja bi nam podrobnije prikazala rad i djelovanje DVD-a Veliko Korenovo. Tako je i prva vatrogasna šprica završila u neprimjerenom prostoru te je došlo do velikih oštećenja tako da njezino uređenje gotovo nije moguće.

From the stories of citizens and senior members of the DVD, we learn that the DVD was very active before and after World War II. The first fire syringe was procured with which the members of the DVD participated in many fires in the place as well as in the surrounding villages in the present area of ​​the city of Bjelovar as well as in other places. Tapazi results in competitions were also achieved. The last traces and activities of the DVD were recorded in the 80's, when in a way all activities stopped. Unfortunately, with the demolition of the old home, all documentation on the work and operation of the DVD disappears, as well as various awards, trophies and other medals that would show us in detail the work and operation of the DVD Veliko Korenovo. Thus, the first fire syringe ended up in an inappropriate space and there was great damage so that its arrangement is almost impossible.
