Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo Cirkvena osnovano je 31. srpnja 1892. godine u okviru DVD-a Sveti Ivan Žabno kao treći vod. Osnivači su bili: Aleksandar Doner, Valent Grokša, Pavao Radulec, Antun Severović, Antun Meteš, Imbro Pavlić, Nikola Bradić i Mato Drmečić, a prvi predsjednik Franjo Šagovac. Vrijedni članovi društva davne 1946. godine započeli su gradnjom Vatrogasnog doma, a na Novu 1947. godinu održana je prva zabava. Društvo danas raspolaže sa potrebitom opremom i stalno radi na omasovljenju članova tako da je u proteklih deset godina primljeno 60 novih članova.

The Volunteer Firefighting Society Cirkvena was founded on July 31, 1892, as the third unit within the Volunteer Firefighting Society Sveti Ivan Žabno. The founders were Aleksandar Doner, Valent Grokša, Pavao Radulec, Antun Severović, Antun Meteš, Imbro Pavlić, Nikola Bradić, and Mato Drmečić, and the first president was Franjo Šagovac. In 1946, the diligent members of the society began the construction of the Fire Station, and on New Year’s Day 1947, the first celebration was held. Today, the society has all the necessary equipment and continuously works on expanding its membership; in the past ten years, 60 new members have joined.
