DVD KUZMINEC
Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo Kuzminec osnovano je davne 1885. godine, 29. listopada. Taj dan je rođendan ovog plemenitog i humanog društva, kojemu je svrha zaštita života i imovine od vatre. Za prvog predsjednika izabran je gosp. Aleksa Štibehar, za tajnika gosp. Mirko Zdesič, a prvi zapovijednik bio je gosp. Blaž Radiček koji postaje duša novog društva te svoju funkciju drži u društvu aktivno kroz punih 40 godina. Godine 1935., 30. lipnja održana je 50-a godišnjica. Te iste godine odmah nakon proslave dolazi do najvažnijeg pothvata društva poslije njegova osnutka, pristupa se realizaciji stare želje, izgradnji vatrogasnog doma. Pokretač i uporni organizator ove velike akcije bio je neumorni predsjednik vatrogasnog društva gosp. Kranjec Stjepan. Za izgradnju doma svoj prilog dali su mještani sela Kuzminec kao i veliki prilog kojeg su nam darovali Kuzminski i Koledinski iseljenici iz Amerike. Godine 1936. počela je gradnja doma te je iste godine bio i završen. Godine 1937. obavljeno je svečano otvorenje doma dana 27. lipnja uz sudjelovanje mnogih vatrogasnih društava i naroda. Može se reći da je to najvažniji datum za društvo poslije dana njegova osnutka. Dana 27. i 28. srpnja 1985. godine održava se proslava 100 – te godišnjice osnutka i rada društva. Na toj proslavi učestvuju mnogobrojna društva iz naše okolice kao i društva iz šire okolice. Dana 16. kolovoza 2006. godine donirano nam je vatrogasno vozilo marke ″FIAT DUCATO″ za koji je najviše zaslužan zapovijednik Javne vatrogasne postrojbe gosp. Slavko Tucaković. 2007. godine organizira se takmičarska ekipa sastavljena od mladeži DVD-a Kuzminec i DVD-a Koledinec te se za njih nabavljaju radna odijela. 2009. godine počela je adaptacija krovišta na društvenom domu te je završena ove godine zajedno sa uredenjem unutrašnjosti doma za što je najviše zaslužan načelnik općine Rasinja gosp. Kolman Danimir.
Kuzminec Voluntary Fire Company was founded long ago in 1885, on October 29. That day is the birthday of this noble and humane society, whose purpose is to protect life and property from fire. The residents of the village of Kuzminec contributed to the construction of the home, as well as a large contribution donated by emigrants from America from Kuzmin and Koledin. In 1936, the construction of the home began and it was completed in the same year. In 1937, the official opening of the home was held on June 27 with the participation of many fire brigades and people. It can be said that it is the most important date for the company after the day of its foundation. On July 27 and 28, 1985, the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation and work of the company was held. Numerous societies from our area as well as societies from the wider area take part in this celebration. On August 16, 2006, a FIAT DUCATO brand fire truck was donated to us, for which the commander of the Public Fire Department, Mr. Slavko Tucaković. In 2007, a competition team was organized consisting of the youth of DVD Kuzminec and DVD Koledinec, and work suits were purchased for them. In 2009, the renovation of the roof of the community center began and was completed this year, together with the decoration of the interior of the center, for which the mayor of the municipality of Rasinja, Mr. Kolman Danimir.
