Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Zbog nužne potrebe gašenja i spašavanja imovine mještana sela Tužna još se 1920 ih godina naveliko raspravljalo o potrebi osnivanja vatrogasnog društva.
Ta ideja konačno je ostvarena 1934.g. točnije 22.08.1934 kada je održana osnivačka skupština kojom je na temelju „Pravila DVČ Tužno „ izdanih od strane Ministarstva fizičkog vaspitanja naroda u Beogradu, zapoćeo rad našeg vatrogasnog društva, i to pod onda uvriježenim imenom „ Dobrovoljna vatrogasna četa u Tužnom „ Zapisnik sa te skupštine poimenično nam navodi osnivače a to su bili :
1. Mato Vidaček, rodom iz Margečana , tadašnji načelnik opčine Vidovec
2. Rihtar Josip, Trgovac i gostioničar u Tužnome, rodom iz Konjšćine
3. Mihalić Anka, poštanska službenica u Tužnome, rodom iz Varaždina
4. Ožeg Vinko, učitelj u Radovanu, rodom iz Varaždina
5. Grđan Lovro, ratar iz Tužna
6. Njegovec Juraj – Đuro, mehaničar bravar, tužanski zet rodom iz Črešnjeva

I tako je sve krenulo, poćeci su bili teški i skromni, počelo se od ničega, ali je krenulo.Za potrebe gašenja požara koristila se ručna pumpa posuđena od DVČ Vidovec, koja se na mjesto požara prevozila konjskom zapregom. Već od početaka izvođene su vježbe sa operativnim članovima, slalo ih se na razne izobrazbe, kupovala se vatrogasna literatura. 1937.g. na ćelo DVČ Tužno dolazi barun Ivan Ožegović iz Bele, koji vodi društvo sve do 1941.g.

DVD Tužno 1941 – 1945
U vrijeme drugog sv, rata DVD Tužno i dalje djeluje samo pod drugim sistemom, vatrogastvo spada pod ministarstvo domobranstva, na čelu društva je povjerenik Juraj Njegovec a svi članovi polažu zakletvu NDH. Iz Zapovjedništva vatrogasce se redovito poziva na spašavanje unesrećenih tokom Anglo – američkog bombardiranja grada 1943 – 44 i 45 g., raščišćavanja ruševina te pokapanje stradalih osoba. DVD je bio pod vojnom upravom sve do kraja rata. Članovi razasuti na sve strane, šestero je ih je i stradalo u tom ratnom vihoru. Od 1945 do 1949 g. DVD zbog ratnih i poratnih prilika ne djeluje, te 1949 stara postava i neki novi članovi ponovo pokreću rad DVD a, tako da se već 1951.g. gradi prvo spremište za opremu, a 1952 nabavljena je prva motorna pumpa „ Rakovica i specijalna zaprežna kola za prijevoz iste. Društvo sve više i više raste i prisutno je u svim sferama života u selu. 1963.g. samodoprinosom mještana sagrađen je prvi vatrogasni dom DVD a Tužno, Kroz 1960 – te godine kontinuirano se vrše vježbe operativaca, osposobljava se sve veći broj mještana za zvanje vatrogasac. 1970.g. nabavljen je agregat Rosenbauer koji je društvo koristilo sve do 2000.g. 1971.g. Nabavlja se prvo kombi vozilo IMV, sa svom pripadajućom opremom Do 1980 konstantno raste broj članova DVD –a, javlja se i prva natjecateljska ekipa koja je u to vrijeme postizala zapažene rezultate a ti korijeni sežu i do danas. 1980 ih godina ponovnim samodoprinosom obnavlja se i proširuje vatrogasni dom. 1987 nabavljeno je navalno kombi vozilo TAM 80 koje koristimo sve do 2004.g.

For the purpose of extinguishing the fire, a hand pump borrowed from DVČ Vidovec was used, which was transported to the site of the fire by horse-drawn carriage. From the very beginning, exercises were carried out with operational members, they were sent to various training courses, and firefighting literature was bought. 1937 Baron Ivan Ožegović from Bela, who led the company until 1941, sadly came to the head of the DVČ. DVD Sad 1941 – 1945 At the time of the Second World War, DVD Tužno still operates only under a different system, the fire service falls under the Ministry of Home Defense, the company is headed by Commissioner Juraj Njevec, and all members take the oath of the NDH. Firefighters from the Command are regularly called upon to rescue victims during the Anglo-American bombing of the city in 1943-44 and 45, to clear the ruins and bury the victims. DVD was under military administration until the end of the war. The members were scattered in all directions, six of them perished in that whirlwind of war. From 1945 to 1949, DVD did not work due to war and post-war circumstances, and in 1949 the old lineup and some new members restarted the work of DVD, so that already in 1951. built the first storage room for equipment, and in 1952 the first motor pump "Rakovica" and a special cart for transporting it were acquired. The society is growing more and more and is present in all spheres of life in the village. 1963 the first fire station DVD was built by the locals' self-contribution. Sadly, throughout 1960 - that year, operative exercises were continuously carried out, and an increasing number of locals were being trained for the profession of firefighter. 1970 a Rosenbauer unit was acquired, which the company used until 2000. 1971 The first IMV van is purchased, with all the associated equipment. Until 1980, the number of members of DVD is constantly growing, and the first competition team appears, which at that time achieved notable results, and these roots continue to this day. In the 1980s, the fire station was renovated and expanded with a renewed self-contribution In 1987, a TAM 80 naval van was acquired, which we used until 2004.
