Danas DVD Celine djeluje unutar Vatrogasne zajednice Grada Vrbovca i Zagrebačke županije.
The firefighting story of Celine began in 1955, when the village consisted of just 130 households. At that time, the residents of Celine were members of the Vrbovec Volunteer Fire Department (DVD Vrbovec). Inspired by a group of firefighters who gathered at the home of Josip Bedeković, the initiative was launched to establish an independent fire brigade. At this historic founding assembly, the decision was made to establish the Celine Volunteer Fire Department (DVD Celine), which would go on to become a source of pride and protection for the local community. Eduard Maršalek was elected as the first President, Ivan Boroša Ceco as the first Fire Chief, Stjepan Vuljanković as Deputy Fire Chief, Zvonko Bedeković as Treasurer, Josip Rendulić as Quartermaster, Božo Kurtanjek as Secretary, and Franjo Levačić as Bugler. Each of them made an invaluable contribution to laying the foundations of the Society, and their dedication remains a lasting source of pride and inspiration. Over the past seven decades, the Celine Volunteer Fire Department has grown from a small local initiative into an independent, well-organized, and highly respected fire brigade. Today, DVD Celine operates as a member of the Vrbovec City Firefighting Association and the Zagreb County Firefighting Association.
