Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

 Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo Čabdin, osnovano je 1893. godine zajedno s DVD-om Cvetković.  Naime, prilikom osnivanja cvetkovačkog DVD-a, sudjelovali su i mještani Čabdina, od kojih je 10-tak bilo aktivnih vatrogasaca. Za vrijeme zajedničkog djelovanja, još 1924. godine u Čabdinu je izgrađen vatrogasni dom, a 1949. čabdinski su se vatrogasci odvojili od cvetkovačkih, te od tada Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo Čabdin djeluje samostalno. Unutar društva djeluje Tamburaški orkestar, koji je osnovan 1997. godine pod dirigentskom palicom pokojnog profesora Stanka Filkovića. Tamburaški orkestar DVD-a Čabdin, već 21 godinu okuplja mlade iz Čabdina i okolice, te im prenosi ljubav prema tamburici i glazbi općenito, a 2007. godine je i nagrađen Plaketom grada Jastrebarskog.

The Voluntary Fire Brigade of Čabdin was founded in 1893 together with the DVD Cvetković. Namely, during the founding of the Cvetkovac DVD, the locals of Čabdin also participated, of which about 10 were active firefighters. During the joint operation, a fire station was built in Čabdin in 1924, and in 1949 the Čabdin fire brigade separated from the Cvetkovac fire brigade, and since then the Čabdin Voluntary Fire Brigade has been operating independently. The Tamburitza Orchestra, which was founded in 1997 under the baton of the late Professor Stanko Filković, operates within the society. The Čabdin DVD Tamburitza Orchestra has been gathering young people from Čabdin and the surrounding area for 21 years, conveying their love for the tamburitza and music in general, and in 2007 it was awarded the Plaque of the City of Jastrebarsko.
